Equip 100 million students with the skills necessary to build resilience, form meaningful connections, and confidently navigate an ever-changing world.
It all started with one SLP.
In 2012, Brittany, a certified SLP, came face-to-face with a persistent challenge: finding effective materials to teach social skills was incredibly hard.
The resources that did exist were often outdated, not validated by research, or simply didn’t resonate with students.
For Brittany and her colleagues, teaching social, communication, and behavioral skills felt harder than it should have.
So Brittany and her husband, Cal, set out to change that.
They created evidence-based video modeling lessons featuring student actors in real-world scenarios, bringing social skills to life in a way neurodiverse students could truly understand.
Since then, Everyday Speech has evolved into a comprehensive social skills curriculum with thousands of video lessons and interactive materials that help educators save time and feel confident supporting learners of all abilities.
As mental health challenges and caseloads grow, we are more committed than ever to making it easy for educators to foster the development of foundational skills like self-regulation, emotional recognition, and problem-solving.
